This place was quite the gem and I feel lucky we got to spend a whole week there. The unit we stayed in was brand new, with our own little infinity pool. The room itself was spacious, with a huge bathroom and lots of closet space. We loved the comfy bed! The staff stocked our room daily with coffee pods and pop for the fridge. Even if we didn't have the "make up room" sign out, we would come back to a little goodie bag waiting for us. For the free breakfast we were able to enjoy fresh, made to order eggs, toast and fruit daily. The other items didn't really appeal to our appetite, so I don't know how good any of it was, but there seemed to be plenty of variety. Eating our meals while looking out over the water under the palms was a highlight. The hotel is a short walk from the beach at Lamai, with lots of options to eat along the beach and even a Michelin star restaurant on the far side of the Buddhist temple next door. Across the way and a good 45-60 walk uphill is an incredible look out at Overlap Stone.

The rooms where comfortable and the toilet was ok too. The pool was enough for the time spent in the hotel. The location is not that great since the beach in front of the hotel is not really suitable for swimming. Very, very, very shallow water and with rocks. The hotel is tired and needs maintinance on the common areas. The beaches around the hotel are not great neither. You absolutely need to have your own transport to move somewhere or get expensive taxis all the time. This hotel has nothing around. The food in the restaurant is really good and at a very good price. Some staff members are very lazy and do nothing to help you when you need them. The stand up paddle boards are not well mainatined, missing parts and also you have to pump them up yourelf when you want to use them. same with the kayaks. Very average not looked after crafts that you need to move and handle yoruselft to the water as the staff is busy looking at their phones.

The room was fabulous, clean bright and airy. We had a dip pool which was great but just missing any kind of view. Quiet and secluded. The hotel is still being built so reception is very unimpressive! Staff all lovely though. Not sure if main pool / bar is going to remain as is when building work completed but it’s an odd layout if it is. Private beach, whilst there, is ver small! You’d not get a lounger on it! Breakfast was ample. Thai choices, fruit, eggs, bread & cakes. Ate there one night which was lovely (pineapple rice). Out of hotel turn right .. 10min walk to Grandfather rock .. the street down to there is full of little shops and bars .. defo recommend. Turn left out of hotel there is a nice diner by the beach (says Michelin recognised), nice food, good service, nice sunset ..

PERFECTION! I have stayed here 6x before and it just gets better every time. The owner has put such special efforts into improving and expanding this slice of heaven. Beautiful Private beach with great swimming pool on the shore break. Great and large rooms! All Recently renovated. So it’s clean and all new aircons that work well. Nice big balcony’s on the superior rooms with sea views. All for such low prices, you would have to Spend 6x to get similar at another spot in Samoi. Good and quiet location in Lamai with easy access to late night carnivals across the way. Very nice restaurant & bar on the beach. Staff are incredibly friendly and always helpful. They go the extra mile daily. One of my favorite places to stay in all of Thailand! Simple but perfect!

We had a wonderful stay at Three Trees Hotel. The highlight was the private swimming pool right in our room – it offered a breathtaking view of the ocean, perfect for a relaxing dip at any time of day. While there’s no direct access to the beach, the view more than makes up for it. The room itself was spotless and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches like ample drinking water provided daily and a convenient mini fridge to keep it chilled. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast wasn’t the most varied, but the fresh fruit was delicious, and the eggs cooked to order hit the spot – simple, but satisfying. We also made use of the laundry service, which was impressively fast and reasonably priced.
